Vice President-Information Technology - Logistics
Vice President-Information Technology - Logistics POSITION: Global Chief Information Officer – International Logistics As a member of the Senior Executive Team, the CIO will be responsible for managing the company's Information Systems and will participate in planning corporate growth and coordinating the strategic plan with the development of Information Systems term support business long term business planning.
The CIO will also be directing the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet objectives set by the Senior Executive Team.
In this role the CIO will control the overall information systems budget and will make decisions relative to outsourcing vs. in-house provisioning.
The primary function is to identify and present software and hardware to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of corporate growth and changing corporate objectives.
Continuous communication with hardware, software, and support service vendors will be a key factor to maintaining a successful and robust company-wide system.
The CIO will be encouraged to attend trade shows and seminars to remain abreast of state-of-the-art developments in the information technology arena.
Qualifications: Strong Interpersonal skills and at least 10 years of senior level management roles are required to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting, and administrative responsibilities of this position.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain Technology including Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems and must have a College or Master's Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent.
Strong background in international logistics is preferred Excellent compensation plan including base, bonus, medical/dental, 401K, retirement, expense account, vehicle allowance.
