Reverse Logistics Analyst POSITION TITLE: Reverse Logistics Operations Analyst Temp-Perm LOCATION: LITTLE FERRY, NJ SUMMARY: Analyzes the operations of returned goods, refurbished merchandise and packaging materials by completing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Processes return entries and analyzes all inventory movement to minimize discrepancies and resolves any physical and credited inventory issues.

- Analyzes operating procedures and provides recommendations for return operating activities.

- Communicates with various departments (ie sales planning, parts, warehouse) on pertinent refurbishing matters.

- Prepares and analyzes statistical reports which are vital to refurbishing operations for all dispositions.

- Coordinates the purchase of parts and packing materials from suppliers for refurbishing operations.

- Monitors and controls electronic dictionary shipment process.

- All other duties as may be assigned by other members of management.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have strong analytical skills and a high mathematical aptitude.

2-3 years prior Refurbishing / Reverse Logistics experience, analyzing inventory movement & resolving credited inventory issues is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, as well as good research and follow-up skills are essential.

Must have advanced Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Word & Outlook.

JDEdwards/AS400/RS6000 experience is helpful.

Strong Communication skills and customer service orientation are required.

Ability to speak Japanese is strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, with an emphasis on Business or Finance/Accounting, and up to three years related experience; or high school diploma and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
