Heavy Equipment Engineering Mechanic
Proficient in all systems related to heavy equipment: hydraulic pneumatics, electrical (a/c & d/c), and mechanical.
Experience with programmable logic control (PLC) General Electric, Siemens, or Omron preferred.
Experience with high voltage, three phase, and low voltage for circuit control.
Experience with friction and electrical over hydraulic cranes: Lattic Boom type.
Experience with counter balance freight handling equipment.
Leadership experience, preferrably as a lead mechanic.
This individual would have worked for a shipping or stevedor company.
High School Diploma and/or vocational tech graduate.
Valid Drivers License - Commercial Clas "B" with HAZMAT and TANK endoresements.
Have Passport or the ability to get one. 10% travel time to both domestic and international Tropical lWe will train the right person .
You will perform basic preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Perform tri-monthly inspection on all equipment and handles existing problems.
Trouble shoots electrical and hydrauulic systems on all equipment.ocations. Skills in mechanical/heavy equipment operations.
2-5 years exp. Performs minor and major repairs on engines and transmissions.
Makes quality fabrications.
