Customs and Logistics Manager for High-End Apparel Company! Elie Tahari Ltd, a high-end apparel company, is looking for a Customs and Logistics Manager for its facility in Millburn, NJ! Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Initial responsibilities include - Enabling and implementing vendor transition from old to new - Implementing new vendor structure in terms of developing report card metrics/ monitoring vendor's adherence to new contract metrics / researching market rates vs. Tahari vendor rates - High level of IT systems as they relate to supply chain - Monitoring IT time and action calendars for task such a
1. Development of an appropriate supply chain tracking system for current and future need
2. Development of a master production schedule as an aid for freight consolidatio
3. Better solution for international freight tracking Future responsibilities may include: - Directing import coordinators in terms of global freight consolidation Qualifications: AS400 Microsoft office Strong email and phone communication both verbal and written Supply chain tracking systems 5+ yrs of experience in logistics with heavy emphasis on IT
