Corporate Logistics Analyst
L'Oreal USA in Cranbury is seeking a corporate logistics analyst for a long term temporary opportunity.
Duties include but are not limited to assisting management on the implementation of transportation cost savings initiatives, monitoring the status of projects, identifying areas in need of cost improvement and business process improvements, analyzing tariff rates and assisting during Requests for Quote processes as needed, organizing and publishing a monthly Logistics Metrics report, and being the liaison between Corporate Finance, Freight Payment Company, and L'Oreal USA divisions during weekly freight payment cycle.
Must understand data, pull data from Cognos, and take, sort, and analyze data.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in logistics/transportation, supply chain management, or finance.
Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to work independently, data base knowledge, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Transportation/logistics experience preferred, project management experience a plus.
