VOA Final Test Operator 1: Gemfire
Position Description: Graveyard shift test operator for fiber optics company.
Will be actively involved in various fiber electro-optic module testing.
Responsibilities will include (1)Perform electro-optic module testing daily, (2)Analyze data and generate reports and (3)Ribbon splicing.
Position Requirements: Prefer to have experience in fiber optics module testing, fiber splicing, and experience with fiber connectors, integrated optical components (AWG, WDM) and basic electronics.
Must be familiar with computers and be able to run data analysis and generate test reports.
Should be at ease in using general laboratory test equipment such as tunable lasers.
Should have cleanroom experience.
Knowledge of standard quality procedures and good communication skills are also desirable.
The person should be able to quickly learn new processes and work independently.
