Sr. Software Engineer - IPSec & IKEv2
Software development focused on networking security; heavy IPSec & VPN Sr. Software Engineer - IPSec Developer SmartEdge Security Development team Location: San Jose Please submit your resume to: kconstan [at] redback [dot] com In this role you will develop and enhance software on our industry leading broadband aggregation router (B-RAS) products.
Our award winning products help service providers build broadband networks that can deliver triple play services like: IPTV, Video on Demand, Multimedia Networking, etc. This is a hands-on development role, taksed with delivering security capabilities on SmartEdge - Redback's carrier-class networking platforms.
We're seeking candiates that have hands-on development experience in implementing security functions and VPN's on carrier class systems.
This role will be heavily invloved in IPSec, IKE, and VPN developent.
Solid understanding of IPSec is a must .
Knowledge of related security functions such as firewalls and advanced higher layer services is a big plus.
Candidate Profile: - Strong knowledge of VPN technologies and associated security standards - Strong development background with IPSec - IKE, IKEv2 development experience is a plus - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking in general - Excellent C programming and debugging skills - Working knowledge of UNIX like kernels - B.
