As a Senior member of the development team, candidates should also be able to contribute to subsystem architecture design and write functional specs; write unit, integration, and regression test plans; write complex automated test scripts; debug problems; perform unit and integration tests; identify and resolve problems found during internal verification testing or at customer sites.
REQUIREMENTS: MUST have 5-10 years of industry exp. as a Software Engineer with experience in Real Time Embedded Communications Software development.
MUST have in-depth knowledge of the LAN/WAN and Network Layer Protocols, especially Wireless, 802.
11, 802.
15, 802.
16; proficiency with internal interfaces and process interactions and full use and application of standard networking theories, concepts, and techniques is expected.
MUST have extensive industry experience and in-depth knowledge of VxWorks and/or Linux (this is mandatory).
MUST have 5 years experience in Communications Software design, this is require! MUST have the ability to multitask; work under scheduling pressure; work under only general supervision; follow established procedures; and, have excellent written and verbal communication.
BSCS/EE is required, MSCS/EE is a plus.
Must have team and people skills.
