Software Engineer
Software Engineer Basic Function: In this position you will be a member of a small team developing workstation or embedded software for high performance signal processing applications.
Familiarity with Client/Server or MVC software architecture, device interfacing, and C/C++ development on Linux and VxWorks operating systems is mandatory.
Primary Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include performance of general engineering work involving design, development, or modification of basic software components or subsystems.
You will apply standard techniques and procedures in carrying out engineering tasks, which involve designing and developing to provided specifications and perform integration and test activities as required.
Applications may include implementing the GUI for controlling the application, implementing and optimizing certain algorithms, and writing software to control hardware devices.
Job Requirements: Requires 0 to 2 years experience and a BS degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
Requires a background in C, C++ or Java.
Some knowledge of telecommunications is desirable but is not mandatory.
