Sales & Marketing Manager – Telecom Solutions: Telecom Connections
Great opportunity for sales/marketing guru with wireless/telecom expertise in government/enterprise.
A newly created sales, marketing and business development role in an established successful international technology company.
The focus of this organization is providing both government and enterprise customers with unique wireless telecom solutions.
These solutions involve both off-the-shelf integrated systems and custom designed proprietary systems to meet specific customer needs and requirements.
· In this position you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy for the companys capabilities.
· You will seek out and respond to Requests for Proposals and prepare and submit bids in competitive bid situations.
· You will represent this companys highly unique and totally self-sufficient portable wireless applications and devices.
· You will be responsible for helping to continue the companys position as a technology leader by building on existing government relationships and expanding the customer base to other customers.
· You will be generating customer contacts and resources, making visits directly with both potential and existing customers and representing the company at trade shows and other events.
· You will work closely with the company CEO, CTO and CFO in assessing business opportunities and the companys capabilities to respond to customer needs.
· This position will reward your success with a very good compensation package including strong incentive plan for results accomplished.
Job Qualifications: · Proven successful experience selling to senior level decision makers in government or defense agencies or enterprise organizations with wireless or telecom solutions.
· A consistent track record of sales leadership and accomplishment.
· Should have substantial knowledge of wireless protocols and technology, including GSM, CDMA, satellite, etc. · Sound overall business judgment and extremely polished people skills.
· At least 10 years of experience in sales with at least 5 years in telecom or wireless solutions.
· Should have achieved industry recognition and have respected contacts.
· Ability to understand new technology, assess its market potential and articulate its benefits.
· Able to travel as needed throughout North America in support of business development efforts with occasional international travel as required.
· A current Government Security Clearance is strongly preferred.
· Must be willing to live in/be based out of South, Central or Northern New Jersey or the New York City metro area to work out of company headquarters.
