¿ Meet and exceed target revenue goals across product lines through the use of cross-selling techniques and acquisition of new customers.

Pro-actively educates customers on multiple products by serving as a consultant and by using demonstration sales techniques to meet and exceed sales goals.

; Transition payment and technical support transactions into revenue-enhancement opportunities through the use of pro-active sales and consulting techniques.

¿ Resolves billing and payment issues on multiple products in a ¿win-win¿ fashion by building a rapport with the customer, focusing on adding value and by consistently improving knowledge and understanding of the billing system.

¿ Must be able to master knowledge of all Cox products including Cox Digital Telephone and Internet products sales and upgrades, billing and retention issues.

Work closely with consumer affairs, test desk , retention and CCC to resolve customer issues.

¿ Work closely with video/telephony/retention departments to ensure a seamless transition when handling pending work orders transactions for customers who are referred into the Retail stores.

¿ Proactively advise customers on collection account status by using effective persuasion skills to retain customers and negotiating payment options to minimize bad debt.

Work closely with field retention specialist by providing them with updated account information on pre-disconnect orders.

¿ Maintains strict adherence to bank and equipment security policies in order to safeguard employees and company assets.

In addition, provide protection against fraudulent transactions and increase safety awareness.

¿ Responsible for accurate posting of payments to customers¿ accounts by using expert cash handling and cash management skills while adhering to strict internal control policies and stringent time constraints.

¿ Accurately processes equipment from company possession to customer receipt by following established inventory and posting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS: ¿ High School Diploma or GED.¿ One-year customer service experience, retail preferred.

¿ Sales experience required with a quota driven system.

¿ Must be objective, assertive and comfortable with a competitive face-to-face sales environment.

¿ Cash handling in a high volume retail environment (6 months).

¿ Adherence to department dress code.

¿ PC and Windows literate; multi-task keyboarding experience required.

¿ Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

¿ Must possess strong interpersonal techniques, is positive, pleasant, respectful, and is customer focused.

¿ Ability to maintain a professional composure when handling emotionally charged face-to- face customers situations.

¿ Possess the ability to identify and overcome objections in face-to-face customer contacts¿ Must possess good verbal and written command of the English language, including excellent enunciation, grammar, and lack of slang.

¿ Strong organizational and analytical skills.

¿ Basic math aptitude.

¿ Actively listens, communicates clearly, concisely and assures customer understanding.

¿ Position considered light in physical intensity: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally in order to lift, carry, push, or pull different types of objects.
