Regional Sales Manager – Wireless Test & Measurement: Telecom Connections

This international advanced technology firm provides wireless system operators and carriers with highly sophisticated test and measurement platforms.
In this role, you will specialize in the companys newest award winning products which simulate real world traffic models to evaluate wireless core packet data networks.
You will be part of a growing team within this dynamic global organization, responsible for expanding the companys presence within major wireless carriers accounts across North America .
You will also provide valuable feedback from customers to marketing, engineering and software development teams at the companys headquarters.
You will interface directly with senior level decision makers within the carrier organization and participate in industry trade shows and other industry events.
You will be responsible for account management, opportunity management, revenue generation and forecasting.
You will also prepare and present written and verbal proposals and presentations to the carrier and work closely with the companys sales engineering team to demonstrate the capabilities of this platform.

Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years experience in sales and business development in wireless telecom, preferably with experience dealing with decision makers in senior level operations and engineering positions with major wireless system operators.
This should ideally include having sold wireless services and solutions to the carrier market, specifically involving network test and measurement.
Should have very specific knowledge of wireless core data packet technology.
Must have proven successful track record of outstanding accomplishments and able to articulate industry contacts to represent this excellent company.
Must be able to travel throughout the US up to 50% of the time and be based in the Dallas area.
Requires high-energy, self-motivated person with competitive traits and able to build close business relationships with clients and to do post-sales support.
Must have very high level of organizational and time-management ability, strong business ethics, and goal orientation.
BSEE degree preferred.
