Embeded Firmware Engineer (T0354)

We are a developer and provider of high-performance broadband customer-premises networking equipment and carrier-class software for the remote management of broadband services and equipment.
We also develop and provide broadband-enabled services and remote-management software for enterprises' technical support, help desks, and personal computers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: We have an immediate opening for a short-term project (duration would be 3 months, with possibility of extension).
In this position you will be responsible for adding network management parameters for DSL Forum standard TR-069.
These are XML formatted parameters, functionally similar to SNMP MIBs.
The successful candidate would have at least 4 years of embedded software development experience on networking devices such as switches or routers and would have prior experience in development embedded software for DSL routers, and with prior working knowledge of TR-069.
Requirements: Basic understanding of networking layers (eg Ethernet, IP, HTTP) is required although the work is not for developing code for any of these areas.
Prior work in SNMP agent will be useful to understand the management concept.
