Digital Signal Processing Systems Engineer 2
Job Description Digital Signal Processing subsystem engineer responsible for specifying, developing and verifying complex DSP payloads for communication and sensor satellites.
Involves requirements and architecture/algorithm development, analysis, modeling/simulation, and verification.
Participates in resolving complex problems that require a high level of ingenuity and innovation that would critically affect performance, cost or schedule.
Investigates and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Verifies accuracy of results through consultation with authorities in the field and/or by formal review.
Reviews work in progress to ensure that specifications, design, criteria, and performance schedules are maintained.
May participate in various phases of program lifecycle from concept development to system acceptance requiring flexibility in roles and responsibilities.

1. Technical Skills & Knowledge: Systems engineering experience in requirements development, modeling, analysis and verification of digital communication payloads.
2. 4. Dependability: The ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
This also includes being reliable, trusted, and accountable for completing work activities.
Typically persons in this position would possess 4 years experience.
Education Requires a BS degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred).
Advanced degree desirable.
Relocation Money Available YES Notes Ability to obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship required.
