Comm Internship with preferred academic background in Networking or Computer Science Communication Internship - MUST BE currently enrolled in a degree program.
This internship will be ongoing throughout the year.

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL REQUESTED Completed some college (PREFERRED ACADEMIC MAJOR Networking or Computer Science PREFERRED BACKGROUND The perspective intern must fully understand TCP/IP addressing and fundamental networking concepts.
Although school projects and studies are always the priority, he or she must be reliable and report for work when scheduled.
A self starter that enjoys participating in a team oriented and highly active work environment will find this to be an ideal position to learn all aspects of network management and support.
ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE/RESPONSIBILITIES - Monitoring help desk tickets for troubles and taking the appropriate corrective actions to restore service and update the knowledge base for future events.
- Monitoring help desk requests for change and taking the appropriate actions to document the planned configuration and schedule it's implementation.
- Review and assess completed changes, and update network management applications appropriately.
- Interact with customers and network engineers when necessary to support testing and/or analysis to determine requirements for future changes.
- Review outstanding change requests and trouble tickets for service levels.
