Candidate must be a mature, organized, motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and reactive work environment.
This position is located in Mebane, North Carolina.
Mebane is about 25-30 minutes from both Durham and Greensboro.
General Summary: The Carrier Billing Representative will be responsible for Access Billing and Collection while supporting Revenue Accounting and Cost study data requests.
Job functions include loading circuit data, calculating early termination charges and term discounts as well as dispute investigation, documentation and resolutions.
The Carrier Billing Representative will work closely with the ICSC and IT departments as it relates to carrier billing issues as well as various other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of Excel (required), MS Outlook, MS Word, Microsoft Access Ability to multi-task Must have good attendance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent telephone etiquette skills Knowledge of office machines, ie; copier, fax, adding machine Preferred Skills: 3 to 5 years experience in customer services Telephony experience with Access Services 3 plus years experience with Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Word Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 5 or more years experience in a business office/customer service environment We are willing to train the qualified candidate.
