(Bi-Lingual) Customer Account Executive -Billing- Call Center: Comcast Corporation
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: The individual handles incoming calls for customers and non-customers who are seeking information about Cable television, Billing and Collections information on their current accounts.
The position is responsible to have full knowledge of cable television products and the integral workings of cable.
The individual is responsible to sell cable products and respond to questions about cable television services, programming, product pricing, scheduling installation and change of service, retention of existing customers, processing disconnects and making necessary payment arrangements with existing delinquent accounts as well as collecting delinquent balances and canceling scheduled non-pay disconnects.
Included is the restart of service to non customers with previous account delinquencies.
The individual must have a sales orientation, soft telephone collections and ability to understand technical/mechanical aspects of cable television.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB BUT NOT LIMITED TO
1. Answering incoming calls, providing quality customer service using PC based computer for entering work orders, customer account information and handling billing inquiries, delinquent accounts, handling customer complaints and problem resolution.
2. Overtime as required.
3. Must be flexible in working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
4. Other duties assigned.
Required Skills: NECESSARY OR REQUIRED SKILLS: Bilingual (Fluent Spanish and English).
High School diploma or equivalent.
6 months Customer service related experience to include billing, collections, sales and retention.
Basic arithmetic and PC/Microsoft office processing skills.
Stable work history preferred.
Must be flexible to work various rotating shifts to include late evenings and weekends.
