This position is for a windows system administrator who would work in the ops center handling tickets and eventually some on-call responsibilities supporting 190 servers in our enterprise data center. The ENOC Windows Systems Administration team is responsible for the maintenance and support of the Windows servers at Client's Data Center.

This technology focused professional will be required to analyze issues and create timely solutions to meet operational needs.

The individual will be expected to successfully correct routine problems in a timely manner while following consistent and standard methodology.

This position will participate in the on call rotation and responsibilities of the team to provide 24x7 operational support.

Key Objectives and responsibilities of this role will include the following: This individual will be responsible for daily administration/support of existing servers.

This role includes resolution of OS issues, ticket queue responsibilities, overall health of servers and first / second line troubleshooting.

This person will be required to adhere to firm standard policies and procedures and change control processes.

This person will be required to interface with other BD technology and project teams to perform operational tasks and implement solutions.

Accountability - Success in this role will be determined by the following:  Timely resolution of all server issues related to server issues in the RTP data center facility  System upgrade/maintenance  Perform system tuning  Ability to apply required system / hardware patches  Satisfy service request from developers and users (internal customers)  Perform detailed documentation of processes and procedures  Ability to identify and resolve Windows OS issues  A thorough understanding of Windows in a large scale environment  Ability to work in a team environment  Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of team and with other experienced technology professionals  Successful participation in server projects  Timely completion of routine / assigned tasks  Ability to monitor ticket queue and resolve internal customer issues Systems Admin  Actively participates in the timely resolution of Incidents  Participates and / or Manages work on break - fix activity  Actively Participates / Manages the diagnosis and resolution of hardware and production problems.

 Ability to identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner  Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of installed systems  On Call Support and On Call rotational duties  Attend group meetings (team meetings)  Provide training and support to other associates / groups  Successful participation in server projects (either internal to group or intra-company group collaboration projects)  Proactively manages internal customers (application support groups)  Provide system support during routine weekly maintenance window Minimum Associates or Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Windows 2000/2003 server experience required, Citrix Metaframe or other thin-client technology preferred.

2-4 years experience, looking for a hungry candidate interested in learning and operating a global datacenter infrastructure, complete with change management and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

MCP certification minimum, MCSE 2000/2003 preferred.
