Technical Consultant
Opportunity: A Technical Consultant is directly responsible for the deployment, adoption and support of RMS products and in supporting product strategy, marketing, management, development and business development initiatives.
The individual will primarily be responsible for supporting RMS product deployments and a portfolio of client accounts.
More specifically, the individual will support new business opportunities, the planning and execution of deployments, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
This role requires a competence in systems analysis, RMS platform technologies, business application installation and deployment, and providing technical and product support to clients.
Required Skills: The individual must be a self-directed individual with the ability to perform in cross-functional, multi-organization and virtual teams.
The individual must possess systems analysis skills such as performing interviews, analysis, evaluations, and developing recommendations and possess effective oral, written and presentation skills.
The individual must possess a competence in the foundation technologies that RMS products are built with at least 2 years of hands-on support and configuration experience with the following technologies: Windows 2000, Internet Explorer, Internet Information Services (IIS), Active Server Pages (ASP), SQL Server 2000 and Active X.
The individual should possess a solid understanding of networking, client/server, n-tier and web architectures, and the following HTTP, HTML, XML, COM, CORBA communication/integration standards.
The individual must posses an information technology or logical science degree.
It is highly desirable the individual have MCSA or MCSE certification.
The individual must have experience in deploying and supporting business applications.
The individual must have experience working within a structured project management and application development lifecycle framework.
It is also desirable that the individual have experience working within the Financial Services or Risk Management industries.
