SUPPORT SPECIALIST II The Support Specialist II requires good phone and customer relation skills, problem resolution and analytical skills.

Detailed work with computer software and system administration.

A results-driven individual, youll find yourself involved in: Responsible for providing telephone and Email support to customers (internal and external) for two of the RedPrairie software products.

Provide support for third party products utilized with the RedPrairie software Provide needed assistance to ensure that inquires is effectively and efficiently resolved.

Perform general diagnostics and trouble shooting Utilize analytical information gathering techniques to identify need(s) Perform severity assessment and problem classification form information obtained Resolve general application usage problems Independently resolve 66% of calls Escalate designated calls to appropriate personnel Gain an understanding of RedPrairies escalation procedures and how to put these to use Using the EWS (Enterprise Wide Support Software) as a tool to provide support recommendations Continuing education on all products utilized by RedPrairie Assist other Support Specialists in understanding issues and resolutions Train new Support Specialists on specific functionality Provide feedback on product and/or process initiatives developed in other areas Understands the concept behind the solution, the client base, and the industries that the product serves Monitor active issues for escalation and closeout Maintain.

/Update EWS as needed Provide input for EWS knowledge base Assisting in team building through cooperative recruiting efforts and information sharing Were looking for an insightful, persistent fact-finder and forecaster with: College degree in MIS or similar At least one year of software programming experience (and/or equivalent course work) and a sound knowledge base of the following technologies: Development platforms experience with one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, VB .
