Sr. Desktop Support Analyst: TeleNav
Windows , Linux , Active Directory Exchange 2007Brief DescriptionThe position is responsible for the first and second level support of Telenavs corporate infrastructure.
This includes desktop support of user hardware and software, VOIP phones, and maintaining a library of build images.
This role will ensure Telenavs employees have excellent access to IT resources at the desktop level.
DescriptionGeneral DutiesEnsure Telenav IT standards and policies are solidly applied throughout the desktop environment.
Add/Change/Remove End user PCs, phones, and peripherals.
Corporate office moves and additions.
Document processes and procedures.
Maintain a library of build images.
Document OS and application bug fixes.
Experience and Skill Requirements2-4 years of IT experience supporting desktop environments.
Excellent communication skills with non technical users.
Team player attitude.
Desire to support an IT Infrastructure during normal working hours with some after hours support on a rotating basis.The ability to handle multiple priorities.Mid to Expert level skills in most of the following areasWindows Desktop operating systems.
Building desktops from an image library.Documentation.Windows AD/MS Outlook/Unified Messaging.
Knowledge of common network functions.
DHCP/DNS/Routing.
VOIP phone systems support (adds/changes).
Supporting users in a service ticket environment.
Other QualificationsBS in Computer Science/MIS/Engineering or equivalent experienceCertifications such as MCSE, CCNA, RHCP a definite plus
