Software Engineer - Entry-Level
Job Details Software development position in a customer scenario/SVT Team for the Rational Desktop products.
Goal of org is to improve our consumability and quality of portfolio.
Successful candidate should be self-motivated and have experience in requirements management, Java IDEs, UML and app development.
Experience in software test methodologies, writing test plans/cases, project planning, and test automation tools a plus.
This position requires the usage of Rational products such as RequisitePro, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Software Architect in a customer environment.
Applicant will develop robust world applications.
Ability to initiate and maintain professional interactions with development teams, documetnation, customer support and external customers.
Good communication and ability to problem solve and work independently required.
Major Field of Study: Computer Science or related.
Can give expert advice and lead others to perform in the following areas: Written and oral communications and Teamwork.
Can perform without assistance and has in-depth knowledge of: Software development processes and Eclipse.
Can perform with assistance and has applied knowledge of: ReqPro, Java, and Application design.
