We are seeking Service Managers Delivery for our Gaithersburg, MD location.
JOB OVERVIEW The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of infrastructure services.

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and enhance customer service at all levels of the IT organization by gaining credibility and confidence from the Business Units in the IT service capabilities.
Exceed client expectations through quantifiable superior customer service Collect, manage and communicate key performance indicators and service level agreements throughout all levels of the organization.
Compile, review and use customer satisfaction data to implement or change existing processes/procedures.
Meet with Business Unit IT Leaders to understand and address customer satisfaction problems Plans, organizes and leads infrastructure requirements for the assigned business.
Establishes goals and objectives for the business and coordinates workflow, takes corrective action if goals are not being met. Recognizes business strategies for business.
Demonstrates working knowledge of industry and trends; uses this information to maintain continuous improvement.
Teams with senior leadership and the infrastructure team or suppliers to ensure a timely, accurate and cost effective solution to their IT business needs.
Train business partners on how to work with IT. Meet face-to-face with clients as necessary.
Oversee appropriate use of team budget.
Interfaces with the Project Management Organization to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the client needs.
REQUIREMENTS BS/BA degree or equivalent higher educational certification Advanced degree or certification preferred 3-8 years of successful service delivery experience in assigned specialty field 3-5 years of management experience Experience in interacting with suppliers Intermediate understanding of financial concepts Knowledge of drug development preferred Travel required Some weekend and evening hours required email your resume to job29 [at] workplacegroup [dot] com The WorkPlace Group, Inc., (WPG) a Talent Acquisition and Assessment company, is partnering with Covance, Inc. as an extension of their HR to fill this position.
