Middleware Level 1 Support
Some basic understanding of middleware, Be capable/able to work well with z/OS,Unix,windows Some understanding of middleware.
Be capable / able to work well with z/OS, Unix, and Windows platforms Able to follow technical directions in previously created Knowledge Items to restore service outages Understand the supported products well enough to take the appropriate action documented in Knowledge Items to restore service outages Engage and work with other technical areas within the customer to restore service outages.
Must have good communication skills Identify when current Knowledge Items in existence do not fully 'cover' service recovery When service has been restored, work to start problem determination activities with the Problem Management team to establish root cause
