Java Developer
Java Developer We are looking for two junior Java developers, who are eager to learn and have a strong interest in technology and capital markets.
This position will be developing solutions at the middle tier, API, and application levels for various fixed income businesses.
The candidates should have experience with a range of distributed computing architectures, operating systems, and tools.
We need someone who takes ownership and responsibility of assigned projects, is proactive, self-starting, and eager to solve problems with varying levels of guidance.
Delivery and result focus is critical.
We need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
Required Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience with core Java and the J2EE/EJB/distributed computing environment, including JSP/servlets, JDBC, WebLogic, XML, etc. - 1+ years experience with SQL/databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server), including some stored procedures (PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc.). - Experience developing and deploying applications on Windows, Solaris, and Linux environments and development tools, such as ClearCase, Visual Studio, ER/Studio, etc. - Passion for technology and software development.
- Experience working with front office (traders, researchers, analysts, etc.). - Experience with JMS, Tibco RV, and/or other messaging technologies.
