IT Systems Support Professional IV: Kennesaw State Univ.
Kennesaw State University seeks IT Systems Support Professional IV This position will serve as an integral team member for the Enterprise Systems and Services (ESS) Application support Team, which provides technical and functional support for campus end-users for a variety of software applications.
Position is responsible for application installation, upgrades, maintenance, security administration, problem resolution, training, etc. This position may be responsible for complex data entry, documenting data definitions, acting as a backup systems administrator including security administration of server, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience OR Technical diploma, Associate's degree, 2 years of related college course work and 4 years experience.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience with any / all of the following applications preferred: Blackbaud (Financial Edge and Raiser's edge); Peoplesoft Financials; Banner (Student Information System), calendaring and scheduling software (such as EMS); any payment or loan management system; and enterprise systems dealing with advisement tracking, physical access management, scholarship processing, etc. The individual must have experience in installing and supporting applications both at the server (Windows 2003 or higher) and desktop levels in a networked environment.
Experience with SQL database systems strongly desired.
Experience with integrating applications with LDAP and Active Directory is a plus.
Possession of strong customer service skills is critical.
