IT System/Field Technician: K Systems, Inc.
K Systems is currently seeking IT field or system technicians for immediate employment.
K Systems is an IT project management company, specializing in mid-size business IT support.
We commit to provide clients high quality, reliable solutions to IT issues faced by mid-sized companies.
K Systems has a quality over quantity approach to IT, applicants possessing attention to detail and pride in their work are preferred.
K Systems is currently seeking field or system technicians for immediate employment.
As a small business, K Systems offers applicants a dynamic environment with a wide variety of challenges You will be involved in everything from daily break/fix tasks to major projects for key clients.
Examples include: AD and Exchange server management, server installs and configuration, LAN troubleshooting and management, IT hardware troubleshooting, etc. Candidate must have: * The ability to follow directions * Demonstrate problem solving skills * Demonstrate attention to detail and pride in your work * Knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies (server software, operating systems, Office suite, etc) * Report/Manual/Presentation writing you will need the knowledge and skills to write status reports, procedural manuals, and project presentations, along with knowledge of MS Office tools to do so. * Good customer service skills, ability to provide technical assistance and training to end users You must be willing to: * Possibility of weekend/off hours work * Drive/have own car * Speak and Write English * Lift 30 pounds * Travel within the Chicagoland city and suburbs, concentration of clients in the northwest suburbs.
Applicants must: * Submit to and pass a criminal background check * Submit to testing that evaluates your attention to detail and problem solving skills Benefits: 1 week paid vacation after 6 months employment, 401k matching program, donation matching program, cellular reimbursement program.
This is full time, w2 position based on an hourly rate.
However, hours can vary per week.
$20/hour and up based on experience.
