We're so much more than just a phone company! Works on systems and/or telecom assignments that are moderately complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

Conducts installation, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.

Maintains accurate records and documentation of work performed.

Receives no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.

Determines appropriate actions and resolves problems as required.

Assumes 24 hour on call duty when assigned.

Must maintain an acceptable driving record.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

GENERAL DUTIES The essential functions listed below are representative of duties performed by this job title.

Duties generally include but are not limited to the following: GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE NORMALLY REQUIRED: Hardware and software maintenance on desktop PC's, laptops and printers.

Installation of desktop PC's, laptops and printers onto network and tracking equipment and licenses.

Installation of new application onto existing desktops and setting up new employee login accounts.

Completion of all user requests and trouble tickets and to provide follow-up support in these areas.

Responsible for meeting all service level agreements (SLA).

Coordinate with various network operations and IT personnel to insure completion of all user requests, trouble ticket resolution in a timely manner and provide follow-up support in these areas.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all hardware and software associated with the desktop and end user computing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR A PARTICULAR JOB: May be responsible for performing routine installation and maintenance for all PBX and key systems.

May perform cabling work associated with ongoing support of telephony systems.

Moves and/or transports material such as cartons, equipment and other supplies weighing up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift, bend and crawl under furniture; climb ladders, pull cable and punch down cable.

QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS TESTS: SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work day, evening or night tours; and overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Requires valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record check.

Minimum two (2) year experience working as a computer technician supporting desktop PC's or servers in the NT environment using TCP/IP TRAINING Classroom training online or off-site.

On-the-job training.
