Systems Administrator Location: Danville, IL Duration: Full Time Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Responsibilities: • Installing, administering, and troubleshooting PowerEdge Servers for Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2. This should also include their corresponding services DHCP, DNS, IIS, RRAS, Active Directory. • Responsible for configuring and maintaining new and existing network infrastructure, files servers and directory services security, email (exchange 2010) authentication issues and policies, firewall policies and security. • Manages and monitors all networked devices including VOIP & telephony systems with assistance from Phone system vendors • Installing, administering, and troubleshooting various networking gear including switches, routers, firewalls, such as Cisco Catalyst Layer 3 and Layer 2 switches and Routers. • Install, configure and administer VLANs on Cisco routers and switches. Experience with Router on a stick VLANs and/or Layer 3 switch VLANs. • Conducts research for tools, hardware, software, new technologies and solutions based on business requirements. Will be involved in purchasing decisions, suggesting hardware and software. • Will also be responsible for some Microsoft SQL DB administration especially with respect to Replication. • Creates necessary documentation of the systems, processes and procedures followed.
