Job Description: The Opportunity: EO Schweitzer Manufacturing, an SEL Company, seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician.

Equipment Maintenance Technician: Responsibilities: Coordinate and/or perform preventive maintenance on assembly machinery.

Troubleshoot machinery failures.

Assist with the design, evaluation and implementation of assembly machinery.

Coordinate and / or perform construction / modification of assembly machinery.

Maintain and review machinery maintenance logs.

Collect and analyze data; perform root cause analysis of production machinery problems.

Train operators on machine operation and maintenance procedures.

Follow and improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications: Two-year electronic technology associate degree or equivalent Minimum 2 years experience constructing, programming, and maintaining manufacturing equipment Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

This includes basic analog, digital, microprocessor, digitizing vision, and robotics systems Demonstrated knowledge of utilizing modern test equipment to diagnose failures to the component level Strong writing and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environmentPreferred Qualifications: Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment to component level.
