Electronics Repair Technician: Carolina Medical Parts
Electronics Repair Technician - High Power DCCarolina Medical Parts is a MRI parts and repair company.
Our skills are in the repair of critical system components for MRI systems.
We are currently seeking to expand our capabilities in the repair of gradient amplifiers.
These components are high power pulsed DC amplifiers and associated switch mode power supplies.
Typical voltage ranges are 100 to 700VDC and currents of 100A.
Successful candidates should have knowledge and experience with: · Switching Power Supplies · IGBT characteristics · AC/DC power conversion techniques · Solder skills on both through hole and SMT devices · Able to read schematics and technical documents · Oscilloscopes, DVMs, L/C meters and current probes · Basic troubleshooting skills Qualifications for this position are: · Associates Degree in electronics or applicable experience either Military or commercial.
· 2+ years of experience in the repair, manufacture or maintenance of high power systems.
· Ability to creatively approach and solve problems.
