Data Processing Support: Social and Scientific Systems
Job DescriptionUnder general supervision performs a wide variety of data processing tasks for all areas of project support, including use of office and study specific systems and software.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform specialized coding or editing operations that may require specialized knowledge.
May be assigned lead responsibility for a coding/editing operation.
Key enter data or verifies data from variety of data collection sources into computer files, verify and correct.
Maintain electronic and/or paper inventory system to document flow of data collection instruments from receipt through entire data processing procedure through archival storage.
Scanning, verifying and ensuring integrity of data.
Assist Data Manager in consultation with study manager to review data collection instruments for final revisions.
Assist Data manager to define specifications from data entry, scanning or verification programs for implementation.
Perform other administrative tasks, such as document processing, filing and file maintenance, and operation of office equipment as needed.
Required Experience Bachelors plus two years of relevant office experience; proficiency in general office software applications and typing.
