Job Description: Ancestry.com is looking for individuals to work part-time Monday through Friday with opportunities in the following shifts: 8am-Noon; Noon-4pm; 4 pm- 8pm, 8 pm-Midnight; Midnight-4am; and 4 am-8am.

This position is compensated at $9 - $9.
50 per hour.
Digital Preservation Specialists may be involved in the following tasks: Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements: Scanning microfilm, microfiche, books, maps, or miscellaneous documents for Ancestry.com online content Performing quality audits on scanning Entering Table of Contents data Digitizing books using a variety of document scanning equipment Troubleshooting problems with hardware, software, and image quality Performing basic image enhancement and file manipulation tasks Utilizing skills in image acquisition (scanning) and calibrating image capture hardware Verifying the accuracy of data that is keyed from historical documents and the data entry of genealogical records that will be included in Ancestry.
