Contracts Specialist
Kforce is seeking a Contracts Specialist.
This is a 12 month contract-to-hire.
Our client may pay extra and do a 6-month contract-to-hire for the right individual.
This is a new client in Dayton! The Contracts Specialist position is located at a government facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
We are seeking an experienced professional to be responsible for the administration of Contracts and Sub-contracts for our client's FMS and foreign direct commercial sales business.
The qualified candidate will have experience administering FMS and Foreign Direct Commercial contracts.
Working knowledge of and experience with ITAR and other export regulations is required.
Candidates must have solid working knowledge of federal contracting practices, laws, and acquisition regulations with significant experience in proposal preparation and negotiation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task are required.
Candidates must have the ability to work with Saudi, Korean, and other foreign government officials.
A Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline is required.
Candidates must have five (5) or more years of experience administering all types of contracts with DOD agencies.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
