Capacity Planner - Senior CCC Information Services, a pioneer in the auto claims industry is dedicated to putting people back into their cars faster.

Role Description Uses in-depth knowledge of multiple computing platforms along with a solid understanding of CCC's business to create capacity plans across CCC's technology footprint.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understands CCC's business, business systems, and impacts of infrastructure on business operations Using tools and a central data base, collects utilization, capacity, and performance statistics for all of CCC's computing platforms including mainframe, servers, networks, and data storage (eg SAN, disk, tape backup) Creates monthly reporting on key utilization and performance measurements Using modeling tools, creates monthly projections of future usage on key utilization and performance measurements Manages a central data base containing utilization and performance statistics Correlates system capacities with key performance measurements to understand the impact of additional workload on system performance As capacity and performance thresholds are being reached, creates plans for capacity or throughput upgrades to ensure CCC's business is not impacted Provides annually summary capacity projections in conjunction with the annual budget cycle to ensure that necessary upgrades are built in to operational and capital budgets Serves on cross-functional project teams as the capacity planning subject matter expert Documents system designs and related processes Key Success Factors Ability to work with minimal supervision Assumes total responsibility for work assigned and delivers on commitments Takes ownership of problems and/or issues and ensures timely resolution Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement of the computing environment Is able to respond quickly and adapt to changes in priorities driven by a dynamic marketplace Qualification

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienc

2. Experience Level: 15+ years information systems experience in a large enterprise systems environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications.

3. Qualifications: Demonstrated technical ability across a broad variety of varying technologies.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex environments.

Excellent problem solving skills across multiple disciplines.

Excellent presentation skills.

4. Technical Qualifications: 10+ years experience managing a variety of computing platforms (eg mainframe, UNIX, Windows, SMS, EMC) Solid experience BMC Patrol and Perform Predict tools or similar capacity planning toolsets Solid experience with EMC storage management tools or other SAN technologies Solid experience with disk and tape management tools Solid understanding of statistics and predictive modeling Experience with software installation and implementation Experience with system monitoring and management software Excellent project management skills Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent executive presentation skills Excellent customer relationship skills (internal, external
