Business Analyst
Business Analyst Business Analyst BO Our client is a well-established company in the supply/chain industry.
They are looking for a talented Business Analyst for a 3+ month project.
In this role you will be responsible for working as a liaison between the business users and the technical team.
This role also requires functional experience with Business Objects.
Duties: Responsible for documenting existing business processes in distribution, operations, sales, contract management, and eCommerce.
Responsible for making analytical judgments / recommendations on these processes, and articulating them clearly to Senior Management.
Responsible for root cause analysis, business and system process analysis, and development of longer-term, more permanent solutions.
Responsible for developing and analyzing technical diagrams.
Technologies include mainframe, Internet, network, and object oriented.
Responsible for creating, defining, and documenting workflow diagram processes.
Responsible for critically analyzing data flow within and across systems throughout the enterprise.
Responsible for calculating expected ROI, EVA, and other financial metrics for purposes of determining viability of Information Systems projects.
Responsible for analyzing imperfect and often incomplete data, distilling key findings, and presenting them clearly Responsible for translating business requirements into information technology approaches and solutions Requirements: 3 5 years of experience as a BA Business Objects Business process flow diagramming, ability to work in virtual teams, expert in MS Office (Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint) and Visio Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Must clearly, concisely, and crisply articulate complex business and technical concepts and issues to Senior Management.
