Asset Manager Description: The manager of IT asset management (ITAM) is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the entire life cycle of hardware and software assets and where applicable related services such as maintenance and telecommunication (circuits).

This includes managing administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts.

Maintains and manages software license information and updates.

The manager works with IT Procurement to develop enterprise-wide purchasing standards and procedures.

Position works closely with Corporate IT architecture and operations in the financial evaluation of assets.

Creates and manages Corporate IT detailed asset management systems and serves as liaison to the Corporate Finance and Legal departments as it relates to the functions of this position.

Ensures all accounting, regulatory, corporate and legal requirements are met and followed for IT hardware and software assets.

Basic Responsibilities and Objectives Include: · Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of asset management systems for all IT technical assets.

· Perform financial analysis for acquisition cost-effectiveness; develop chargeback and inventory control processes; develop lease/buy models for hardware/software; assist in negotiate licensing agreements; and plan for major hardware/software acquisitions and upgrades, ensuring change management procedures/methodologies are followed.

· Provide asset financial information and managing the physical inventory control.

· Define requirements for asset acquisition and procedures to include management and disposal strategies for Corporate IT · Responsible for asset budget preparation, coordinates with IT Procurement on receipt of purchase orders, invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventory.

· Maintain enterprise wide database of major software applications and the related equipment based on information gathered during Divisional AOPs · Experience required includes extensive asset and financial management.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each basic responsibility satisfactorily and meet education and experience requirements.

Education and Experience: · Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field or equivalent work experience · MBA, or seeking an MBA preferred.

· Typically has 7 to 10 years of business experience including managing team(s) responsible for asset management, finance, procurement and/or service contract management.
