We're so much more than just a phone company! This is a "Term" position generally scheduled for an 18 to 36 month period.
Working as A "Term" Construction supervisor you will manage10-15 Cable Splicing and Outside Plant Technicians in completing construction service order provisioning, project undertakings, resolving order transmission problems, fiber, and electronics provisioning and all other cable requirements to exceed both internal and external customer expectations for communication needs.
Must manage the budget, manage the force, manage the safety, manage the quality, and manage the productivity of the outside construction forces as required to meet internal and external measurement expectations.
Be a guiding force in motivating, challenging, and encouraging our field forces to excel in all construction order provisioning, maintenance, and emergency repairs to the outside plant.
Operate as a pivotal member of a construction team in bringing in results exceeding service and corporate measurements.
Hours may vary depending on service demands, also responsible for weekend "Duty" coverage on a rotational basis.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Must have strong team building and communication skills, working with both management and non-management forces.
The ability to motivate a team, organizes the team construction build work, and encourages team work to improve customer service, productivity, safety, and quality.
Must have strong performance management skills.
Must have satisfactory driving record and a valid drivers license Previous supervisory or leadership experience Knowledge of outside plant construction Strong verbal and written communication skills Desired Qualifications: A Technical background is desired, preferably in an outside work environment.
A working knowledge of computers and use of programs, ie Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
