Sales Rep - Houston Oil & Gas: Micro Motion, Inc.
Sell flow and density meters to oil and gas customers We are currently looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven record of project level, strategic sales.
This position will be located in Houston.
Our instruments help to solve the toughest application problems in a wide range of industries, including chemical, oil and gas, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
Our sales force is characterized by top-notch professionals, who take customer service to a whole new level.
Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for generating sales volume at, or above, assigned quotas and at acceptable margins.
The primary duty is selling Coriolis mass flow measurement products.
Sales representatives will promote Micro Motion at local process industry trade shows; will communicate inter-regional business activity; will also maintain knowledge of customers' projects and program schedules related to use of our products to ensure that these projects are pursued in a timely manner.
This sales rep will focus on oil and gas customers, both headquarters and field offices, mainly for independent producers.
Will include both project and MRO sales.
Qualifications: 5 - 7 years of successful experience in industrial or technical sales, preferably in the process control/instrumentation industry Expertise in oil and gas industry, familiar with flow and density applications in this industry Proven ability to find and develop new accounts Ability to coordinate projects across divisions and between world areas Strong communication skills and professional appearance BS in engineering or related technical field preferred Strong preference for experience in industrial flow measurement equipment
