As a Professional Education Specialist, you will provide professional education support to customers (primarily physicians, nurses, and techs), acting as an in-lab consultant regarding our CARTO three dimensional, electro-anatomical mapping system as well as other accessory equipment.
You will quickly become an extension of the EP lab team.
Pivotal to your success will be your ability to establish your credentials quickly and develop effective working relationships with the customers in your territory, with whom you’ll interact on a regular basis.
Our current Professional Education Specialists have reputations for possessing an EP expertise on a par with the physicians they support, and you will be trained to achieve that same status.
For example, if you don’t already have the NASPE certification in electrophysiology for the allied professional, we will help you get it. This position will be located in Anchorage and requries some day and overnight travel up to twice a week.

A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in cardiac medicine, cardiovascular physiology or electrophysiology is required.
Cath lab or EP lab experience both highly desired.
Graduate certification in cardiology technology is desired.
NASPE certification in cardiac electrophysiology is preferred.
(Obtaining NASPE certification in cardiac electrophysiology within 3 years from the date of hire will be required of the incumbent in this role.

) Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as solid organizational and time management abilities are required.
The qualified candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of Products is desired.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
Ability to lift 60 pounds and ability to wear protective lead in the lab are requirements.
