We are currently seeking dynamic, self-motivated individuals who have a passion for cosmetics.
The Cosmetic Department is one of the most vibrant, fast paced and exciting departments at Macy's.
With extensive selling and product training, our Beauty Advisors practice superior selling techniques through advanced product knowledge and OUTSTANDING customer service.
Our Beauty Advisors personally assist customers in makeup and skin care selections and participate in the execution of special events/promotions to achieve personal selling and service goals.
As a Beauty Advisor you will be assigned to represent one of our prestigious cosmetics lines.

Ability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships in order to maximize business results Love of learning and sharing - learning about, understanding and communicating the features, advantages and benefits of your merchandise to build the sale Proactive - ability to initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn the customers' preferences and buying/service needs Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the making sure department is clean, neat and easy to shop Flexibility & dependability with schedules including nights and weekends What you need to do to succeed.
Actively participate in pre-selling and sales driving events to maximize sales Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude Demonstrate ability to build relationships and influence others Have ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and quickly learn new procedures Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures Be able to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management Ensure compliance with all hygiene standards The Beauty Advisor position is about growth, challenges and opportunities!
