Job Description: We are seeking a career-minded individual to become our new Senior Applications Designer (Inside Sales Associate.

) As the successful candidate in this senior level position, you will be required to respond to customer inquiries in an efficient, personable manner regarding product information, pricing and design solutions.

Training will be provided to adapt your extensive lighting experience to allow you to plan and quote fiber optic lighting systems; answer questions regarding product performance; and to specify the appropriate components to provide exceptional fiber optic lighting solutions.

You will be simultaneously working on multiple projects, each in different phases of development, requiring you to possess strong customer service skills, excellent organization, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities: Consult with designers, architects, distributors and contractors on the best way to use our products.

Provide Application Designs in the form of quotations to a rep network of over 60 companies, and a client base of the world's most notable designers.

Advise in the creation of submittal packages for closed orders.

Fully manage all project coordination with contractors, millworkers, facility owners, construction managers, etc Provide project history to Order Entry department to facilitate proper order processing.

Work with other internal departments to solve customer problems, whether during order processing or after order completion.

Develop your product knowledge and skill level to be capable of reviewing Junior Level Application Designer's work.

Requirements: 5+ years experience in the architectural and/or entertainment lighting fields.

(APPLICATIONS WITHOUT LIGHTING EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

) College Degree.

Excellent telephone skills, as well as a good personality for internal collaboration with other team members.

An intermediate to advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Knowledge of lighting control systems and lighting programming ability is a plus.

Possibility of limited amounts of travel, locally and nation- wide; Mostly attending trade shows.

Valid drivers license, dependable transportation, and a clean driving and criminal record.
