We are looking for a Territory Development Manager (Inside Sales Rep) to be a part of our Inside Sales organization.
You will essentially be assigned to "total customer ownership".
You will be responsible for a multi-state geographic territory in which you will be required to engage in consultative selling of products and services.
You will work in a virtual team sales model where you will actively team with Field Sales, Retention and Business Development functions to grow revenue in your respective territories.
You will be required to actively manage pipeline and sales processes within your respective territories.
In addition, you will be responsible for the development of new customers and retention of existing clients.
You will also target accounts to generate new business and manage account sales.
The Territory Development Manager is in charge of the administration of customer accounts and periodic review of customer satisfaction indexes within their territory.
This exciting opportunity involves working within an assigned territory to build & manage customer and partner relationships.
In addition, you will build business opportunities in key and/or strategic accounts as defined by the organization or business unit.
You will spend roughly 2/3 of the day on the phone engaging in outbound telesales activities as defined by strategic sales campaigns.
On a day to day basis, you will field in-bound calls and supporting current clients.
You will also enter the necessary data in order to compile quotes, orders, and related reporting tools.
Candidate must have previous telesales experience, and industry experience is considered an asset.
Minimum of 2-5 years telesales experience carrying sales quota and retention quota required.
Position will work closely with field sales associates to increase market penetration.
Position's success will be measured by territory revenue growth and client retention, as well as several key performance indicators around call execution.
BA/BS Degree preferred.
