Group Sales Representative: Schlitterbahn Galveston Island
Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark is now accepting applications for a full time, year-round group sales representative.
The group sales representative will be primarily responsible for generating new business, including, but not limited to, booking both catered and non-catered group events, establishing new consignment accounts, responding to leads and inquiries, and processing orders.
Secondary emphasis will be participation in planning and implementing special youth promotions, as well as servicing existing accounts.
Applicants should be detailed oriented and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Education and/or Experience · Minimum two years of college courses · Four years combination of education and sales experience · Waterpark or amusement industry experience preferred Computer Skills · Basic computer skills in MicroSoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Access.
· Database management experience necessary.
· Experience with CRM software is a plus.
Physical Requirements · Must be able to sit and operate a computer keyboard/mouse and telephone for eight hours a day · Must be able to lift up to 50lbs · Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions · Must be able to stand for up to four hours at a time We offer competitive pay, benefits package after 90 days of employment including holiday pay, vacation, health insurance, and participation in the Waterpark Management, Inc. 401(k) plan after one year of employment.
