The Great Indoors, Park Meadows location is hiring Full Time Commission Sales Associates in our Lighting, Plumbing and Soft Flooring Depts.

Candidates must have open availabilty including evenings and weekends.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Previous commission sales experience not necessary.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements -Follows good selling practices: approach, qualify, recommend and close -Continually develops an in-depth product knowledge and is able to assist guests in meeting their product requirements -Builds client/guest base through leads and follow through -Maintains merchandise (cleaning, signing, pricing and replenishment)in assigned areas -Takes appropriate action to ensure inventory integrity -Recommends the right products and services for each guest -Has outstanding follow through to successful guest satisfaction -Always uses systems correctly -Assists in protection of assets of category -Is an active participant in competitive shopping process -Responsible for acceptable close ratio of leads -Understands the local state and federal regulations for tax, lead paint and associate electrical equipment handling -Adheres to The Great Indoors' code of ethics -Always represents The Great Indoors by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor -Exhibits a sense of ownership and empowerment -Miscellaneous duties as requested by senior management
