Area Retail SalesManager- Diversity (must be bilingual in Spanish)Cerritos, CA Position Description: *Sales driven, must speak Spanish Financial Accountability - Consistently achieve sales objectives including activation's, accessories, enhanced services and revenue goals.

Tracks and measures retail store performance.

Prepares sales projections, management reports and retail store correspondence.

Responsible for P&L including: Effectively manages multiple store/kiosk payrolls including overtime and temp expenses; Effectively manages multiple store/kiosk operating expenses.

Prepares sales projections, management reports and retail store correspondence.

Monitors operations for regular compliance with policies and procedures, including contractual obligations.

Develops, implements and evaluates local sales incentive programs for sales representatives.

Establishes, implements and evaluates regular store visit program and activity forms for feedback to upper management.

Manages channel acquisition cost to market budget.

Human Resource Management - Recruitment, selection and training of store manager personnel.

Assists the store managers in recruitment, selection, development and training.

Document and manage Performance Improvement Plan.

Guides and evaluates management performance by providing timely feedback.

Ensures management is coached on how to perform disciplinary discussions, both positive and negative.

Provides management with support during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.

Successfully completes all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time period.

Responsible for direct report's successful completion of all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time frames as well as any promotional training that is required.

Completes all performance reviews on time.

Work with HR on union and staffing issues, acting as liaison between local union contacts, union stewards and the retail bargained employees (were applicable).

Provide staffing changes for rollup, organizational charts and other employee information to other departments and organizations when needed.

Note: if you are responsible for kiosks the additional responsibilities apply - managing kiosk relationships and abiding by contractual agreements.

Customer Experience - Ensures expectations sales and service standards are met by Management.

Follows Cingular Service Standards to ensure the customer has a World-Class experience.

Provides store managers with tools to understand the competition.

Manages store churn.

Effectively communicates with other departments on behalf of customers or employees.

Focus on retaining customers by providing updated product and promotional information.

Handle customer escalations when needed.

Operational Compliance - Responsible for visiting stores/kiosks on a regular basis.

Complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

Sales and agent commission reconciliation.

Managers inventory to meet established guidelines.

Responsible for daily financial, accounting and inventory controls.

Develops and executes selling strategies that will impact the sales for the channel.

Responsible for following safety guidelines as set by the company.

Strategic involvement with local marketing initiatives and securing new retail locations.

Uphold Cingular values and business ethics and maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning Cingular assets and proprietary information.

Develops and maintains effective relationship with all distribution channel principals.

Interface between National Retail accounts and Company departments to enhance communications and expedite processes.

Self-Development - Successfully completes all sales and data training programs that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time frames.

Becomes involved with community programs and activities that impact Company goals in a positive manner.

Position Qualifications: Must be Bilingual in Spanish Bachelors Degree or 4-6 years Sales Experience.
