Merchandise Planner
Merchandise Planner "Join Our Crew!" We are excited to announce we are hiring for Two Merchandise Planner's at our Watsonville, CA Support Center! Our mission at West Marine is to provide better than expected costumer service and quality.

What will you be doing? Works in conjunction with Assistant Category Manager and Category Manager in planning sales, gross margin, and turnover goals by managing inventory and merchandise flow within company guidelines.
Implements financial and unit planning goals and manages planning and allocation of merchandise What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
Minimum of two years merchandise allocation experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of merchandising principles, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of replenishment and allocation principles, practices and procedures.
Knowledge of and skilled in the use of mainframe and personal computers.
Good organization, communication, managerial, planning, and interpersonal skills.
This position is very good for an analytical person with the ability to gather and interpret information, develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
Experience with JD Edwards, E-3 or AS400 is helpful.
