Career Summary This position requires management of all staff members and consistent expertise of all merchandise.

This position is also responsible for training, inspiring and motivating all members of the staff so they may perform optimally at all times and must lead by example with regard to excellent customer service.

The Floor Supervisor must posses strong organizational and communication skills, courteous and positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, ability to trouble shoot as well as multitask, consistent excellence under pressure and strong familiarity with all merchandise, including new products received.

This position reports to the Lead Buyer.

Responsibilities · Ability to understand Red Raider Outfitter culture and its appeal to the Texas Tech market · To oversee the operations of the store by assuming total store accountability for sales, service, profitability and loss prevention · Infuse passion for career into daily environment with the direct intent of furthering the excellence of the business and taking ownership in the position · Creation and management of all staff scheduling · Opening and closing responsibilities required · High competency with all monetary transactions and daily balancing of all cash registers · Show initiative in all career aspects · Assist with occasional outdoor events and promotions · Weekend work required, especially during Texas Tech football season and extra hours as needed during peak times Requirements · Maintain the utmost level of professionalism, maturity and creativity at all times · At least one to two years of management experience in a retail specialty apparel store · Recognize and develop talented employees to enhance the business · Must posses strong ability to maintain a positive attitude and effect staff positively in all professional respects · Must manage others well and coordinate with additional staff, including upper management, consistently All interested candidates may bring resumes to 2416 Broadway, email resumes to marketing [at] redraideroutfitter [dot] com or simply apply through this site to be considered for the position.
