Individuals would be responsible for the following: There is an immediate opening for a Merchandise Coordinator for Nautica, based in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Merchandise Coordinator will act as a field executive for the brand by focusing on training and building strong relationships with in specialty and department stores.
Duties include training store staff on product knowledge, customer service and merchandising standards to maintain brand integrity and maximize sales.
Through relationships built and maintained, the Coordinator will drive business initiatives, provide daily and weekly verbal and written communication regarding various aspects of store conditions, trends and opportunities, support regional strategies and plan for future and maximize current business.
The Coordinator acts as liaison with all levels of retailer (store and corporate), vendor and Nautica personnel.
Travel will be required to remote stores within the territory including Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Candidates must have strong retail management or assistant buyer background and should possess visual merchandising experience.
Superior retail and customer service experience, strong initiative and ability to work independently are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication, training and presentation skills are a must.
Applicants must also have solid computer skills, including Word and Excel.
Knowledge of retail math is important.
Candidates must have strong retail management or assistant buyer background and should possess visual merchandising experience.
