Accounts Receivable Collector: Confidential
A retail/wholesale lifestyle brand is currently searching for an Accounts Receivable Collector.
Responsibilities are as follows: Collects all monies owed on designated Account List as soon as payment is due. Handles all Department Store and specialty Store accounts.
Assists in approving or declining requests for credit lines.
Applies cash on a daily basis.
Reconciles customer returns with credits issued for merchandise.
Communicates with Account Executives regarding customers on hold.
Issues credits when needed.
Performs all other duties assigned.
Maintain account receivable ledger for specific outstanding accounts.
Faxing, e-mailing, and mailing invoice, proof of deliveries, and statements to customers to collect outstanding balances.
Follow up with customers to see if paperwork was received.
Trace shipments that customers request proof of delivery.
Collect payment.
Apply all credits returned against applicable invoices to insure ledgers are updated.
Requirements are as follows
1. 3 years Accounts Receivable or collections experience.
2. Proficiency in Word and Excel.
JD Edwards and SAP a plus.
3. Ability to prioritize and follow through.
4. Multitasking a must.
